a Third Place (August)

For this months Third Place, we have been invited by local artist Josie Ko to help contribute to the utopian, world building installation that will be on display at Govan Project space, as part of her exhibition 'And you call me coloured'.

Here, using papier mache and craft materials, we will collectively dream and materialise an imagined world with an imagined figure that will inhabit this place. This figure can be anything we want, liberated for binaries and patriarchal standards. At the end of the workshop, what we create will contribute to Josie’s exhibition and be on display for the rest of the week. All abilities welcome.

Come in clothes you don't mind getting messy and be prepared for glittery and sticky pva fingers!

Food will also be provided and we will have the chance to look around the exhibition from 5-6pm, with the art beginning at 6 so please arrive before then if possible.
